How is the Consumer Landscape Changing and What Does It Mean for the Dairy Industry?

Consumers are increasingly engaged in the food system. Technology and other factors will provide both opportunities and challenges for the dairy industry. Mike will discuss how changes in the industry and consumer preferences will create an opportunity for engagement and strength for the dairy industry.

Mike von Massow is an Associate Professor in the Department of Food, Agricultural, and Resource Economics at the University of Guelph. He is also the OAC Chair in Food System Leadership. He teaches management and strategy to agribusiness students. His research focuses on understanding how people make food choices and the development of value chains to support those choices.
