Optimizing Farm Income in Today’s Markets

Steve Kell has spent the past 31 years in the grain and feed industry in Ontario. Over the course of those years he’s spent time in elevator operations, feed manufacturing, hedging and trading grain. Steve currently spends his time handling grain trading for Kell Grain Elevators with locations in Gilford and Belleville. When he’s not merchandizing commodities, Steve operates a cash crop farm in Simcoe County, and writes a column on grain markets for Farmers Forum newspaper.
