Andrew Pritchard is an operational meteorologist specializing in weather risk communication. At Nutrien Ag Solutions he serves as Senior Meteorologist based out of their Champaign, Illinois office. Andrew grew up in the Midwest and fell in love with the thunderstorms that struck the Midwest each year. Over the past decade, Andrew has built a reputation as an expert in forecasting high-impact, disruptive weather events, and was awarded a 2021 Regional Edward R. Murrow award for his coverage of the December 10th, 2021 tornado outbreak in the Midwest. At Nutrien, Andrew’s focus continues to be disruptive weather and mitigating risk in production agriculture.
